Re: Please Post Forums Issues - May 2005

Hi Eric,
Yes it was around 8:00 am GMT...
I sent a post but didnt wait to see the aknowledgement and past to something else it only 20 minutes later coming back to the www and looking at the forum I realized my post wasnt sent...

But after a while I couldnt access to other sites also so I became a bit paranoid and wondered if I was not beeing filered...

I then saw the refreshment rate of the forum close to null and fell very sorry for the ITRC Support team...

All the best

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - May 2005

A bunny problem again.

Thread http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=891556 is closed with a bunny without *any* of the answers being assigned any points, and the closing message makes it clear that the answers solved the problem.

This should not happen

Now we all know that the moderators can just remove the trailing closing post, which will re-open the thread, so people can remind the poster to assign points before closing a thread with a bunny

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - May 2005

I endorse Merijn's idea.

I also report a few scattered Error while posting issues last night.

Finally, there was an upgrade cancelled in February. Any word on when we're getting it?

I also agree with Merijin: sometimes I do recomend for new users the reading of http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/helptips.do?#28 but few of them change after reading... :(

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - May 2005

Two issues:

1) This thread clearly needs a better home:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=890954

Error posting issue.

Here is a very consistent way to beat it, using Firefox:

Try and submit
You get the error.
back button
edit
try and post(submit)
get error again.
back button
preview
post(submit).

It works.

That has worked four times for me today.
