Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

The link in the left-hand bar '* post your forums successes and read about others!' on the main page is pointing to an August thread.

Possibly update this when December threads are created ?

Its happened to all of us Sridhar,

Think of it as compensation for all the great answers you've posted and gotten no assignment on.

You're class act. I've learned a lot from you.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Two things:

This author says this is a vms thread. Its hard to make sense of and might also qualify as networking since it seems to be a straight smtp question.

A December issues thread please.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Duplicate thread :
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=758007
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=758005
They are in distinct subsections but appear in double in HP-UX global section.

Any problem with Dan ? No december thread... No activity from nov 12th...

Fred

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Unless there has been a major enhancement this one belongs somewhere in the Compaq/HP server section.

A picture is worth a thread transfer.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Stuart the odd formatting is caused by a stray = at the end of a link. I found the culprit post and fixed the link. Thanks for reporting this.

Steven - quite an odd post for HP-UX. I banished it to MS-land. Thanks!

I hereby nominate this thread for a name change.

Please Post Forums Issues - November 2004

should magically become:

Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Same thing for the success thread.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Do we have to wait for Dan to start a new thread for December, or can anyone do it?

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Problem for this thread is not really on its name (now it's corrected) but rather its size...

Nevermind, here is a happy poster in the bad forum :

Should probably get more audience in linux forum.

Re: Please Post Forums Issues - November/December 2004

Another lost HP/Compaq server thread:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=760147

Andrew,

Several months ago I offered offline to post and manage these threads. I didn't receive a response so I would think it bad ettiquette for me create the thread. I was at the time concerned with negative reaction within the forum community. I mean who am I anyway besides a prolific member?

Anyway, we have have our thread and keep solving problems.

Good Luck,

Could someone please explain to me why this forum member is replying to everyone in Spanish, while all the threads are authored in English?
