It looks like Opera now runs on all platforms (including Mac and Windows) with this 7.50 release.

They even support QNX, though it may be hard to find that link :)

Enjoy, Have FUN! H.Merijn { They've greatly extended the features and possibilities: mail, rss feeds, chat, ... so now I hope they return to making the BROWSER bulletproof and fast. Still too many gray areas where other browsers perform better :( ]

Something funny has happened to the square-brackets in this thread:

(and just to see if it's not just the thread, some square brackets! [ ] ).

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

Hi Dan (et al):

I posted a link to help solve someone's problem (I hope):

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?product=404646&os=228〈=en&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&softwareitem=pv-17633-3

Unfortunately, the Download Now link at that web page is 'broken'. The ftp location does not exist. I tried searching manually for SP26276.EXE but was unsuccessful. I realize this thread is an inappropriate place to try to solve this...
but if you could just steer me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks and make a great day!

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

Though it _looks_ like the search improved, it in fact has not. It cannot find anything.

As you know I did download *all* threads I had anything to do with a while back, so I could check on my local disk. I know not all members are that fortunate.

I was sure I answered someone about a comm question a while back, and my local disks confirmed this very fast to be here: http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=388167

I searched for pattern "comm" and author "procura": no hits

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

procura, I ran a quick test using 'author' filter. Appears something is amiss, perhaps the index. I'll get this reported asap.

Thanks,

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

Hi dan,
I had one issues regarding the points assigned to the response. Problem is when i see my points growing, i am not able to trace where exactly the points came from. It would be helpful for a individual for which response he got recognition and at what level. He can accordingly improvise his support and also know where exactly his strenght lies in. He can keep using his magical annswer and update other ones for future discussions.
We had some exchange of ideas on this and you go can go thr' it by clicking on the thread below:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=574308

When we go thr' my responses in forum profile, we see a tabular format of all thread which contain:
subject family category date
What i suggest is whether it is possible to have one more field indicating points assigned. SO that it will look like:
subject family category date PointsAssigned

Thanks
Bharat

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

When using the new search, the drop-down boxes do not remember what setting they had after the search. The text-boxes however do remember the search criteria.

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

I know this may be a fine point to argue.

But Id like to see my profile page broken out with a section devoted to posts where there have been no points assigned, separate from those which have 1-7 assigned.

Currently all posts are grouped that have either none or 0 thru 7 and then 8-10 are grouped...

I know this may seem petty, but Im tired of giving good advice and not being appreciated for it, or acknowledged at the very least.

Re: Please Post Your Forums Issues - April 2004!

Todd,

I totally agree with you. The unassigned answers should be left separate or the points should be added to the list.

Even if I get a zero, at least show you acknowledged the posting.
