Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
Something wrong with this thread:
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=684771
I tried to post to it 5 times. Every time it quickly gave the acknowledgement but never showed the thread. One time it came back "thread closed" when attempting to post yet it does *not* have the closed symbol.
Finally the reply count is incorrect - states 6, but I only see 4.
Having DB problems today, are we?

Jeff

Isn't this a spammer? He has no history with us and his name looks like it was made up just for this purpose.

Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
I know this is not a forum issue - this is an ITRC issue - but I don't know where else to address this:
With some *** (3 stars) patches, after selecting them to download, it only appears * (1 star). Patch PHSS_26945 is an exemple of this strange behaviour...

Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
You can always open a new thread in the ITRC Usage section for questions like these.
I checked PHSS_26945 and I see three stars all the way to downloading the patch.
Do you see the HP Live Chat button in the patch database? Select that option so that you can chat with someone directly about this issue or open a support case and we can talk further.

Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
No - I haven't seen that particular one. But when I try to access "More Options" for the search on the *main* ITRC homepage I get - every time:
Could Not Open URL
The URL you requested, /emse/bin/doc.pl/screen=emseHome, does not exist or is not retrievable at this HP IT Resource Center Web site.
(Error HTTP_404)
Methinks the gremlins are out today in the search engines.
BTW - I use that search page because I really don't like the "newer" searches on all the other pages. The homepage search is of the old "classic" type.

Jeff

Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
I swear I've clicked more options there before and never noticed the classic search. See it now though, and already prefer it! Thanks....
My original search woes came and went a few times between 2-3p, but seem to be fine now.

Re: Please post your forums issues - August 2004
As far as the 'classic search', there is another way to get there, too. If you enter a keyword in the search window above and press the 'go' button (blue arrow square), you'll be directed to the 'classic' interface when the results page appears.
Thanks,
Dan
