Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
I went to itrc.hp.com and it logged me in and recognized me, but when I clicked on the 'forums' link from there, it took me to the forums home page, but did not log me in. There were a couple of posts I was going to respond to, but when you can't get logged in, that's kind of difficult.
This all happened at approximately 11:00 PM Central time last night (July 8).

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
I have experienced your issues within past few days. I have a message into our support group regarding these and the others mentioned.
All -- please keep the feedback coming into me when you can. As primary users, you see things happen more often as a group. Your input is very helpful in refining and enhancing the Forums overall.
Best Regards,
Dan

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
I just followed a link that takes you to us.external2.hp.com/blahblah..docid=...
which askes you to to log yourself again... closing this windows (last time it said I wasnt able to connect...) show at next refresh that its lost you connection since on left you can see again register...
Can anything be done when someone suggests to look at a DocId= to give the choice of the 2 repositaries us and europe ?
All the best

When i came back to it on the forum page, it showed some more replies, which have been placed hours ago, but not been shown in the first place.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
I resolved my problem of logging in from home last night. I had to go into my cookies.txt file (using Netscape 4.76) for the profile I am using and search through it and delete ALL references to hp.com. Once I did that, I had to log in initially again, but it actually let me log in and respond to a couple of posts.
Apparently there was a problem with a new cookie that was sent or one of the old ones got corrupted?

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
1. The ITRC is running at its (unfortunately) regular glacial pace today. N4000's are nice, however Superdomes are better. Shovel some new kit into the ITRC -- it needs it badly.
2. How about a link or check box on the reply screen for "Notify Me". When I reply to a post, I'm most generally interested in seeing other responses as well. Right now, I have to navigate back to the message and click the "Notify Me" link to activate notification. It would be so much better to be able to reply *and* activate notification in the same step/screen.
Thanks as always,
Jim

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
- Slow refresh
- Loosing connection while submitting reply.
- prefer to see question while submitting answer.
- Occasional 404 error on viewing questions.
-sorting/searching questions on users name
(I needed to see answers to my question posted 6 months earlier, the only way I was to get that question was to put question in search string and if if I don't put exact word I was not able to get there.)
Thanks
Prashant Deshpande.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
It has been really fast (2 - 3 second refresh) at times and really slow ( 5 to 15 seconds) at times.
The faster times may be due to folks going on vacation this week.
And it was really nice to have a few fast popping screens.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
a error 404 object not found. It was a question in relation to swap space.

I also get it trying to post this answer.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
Like others said ITRC is really slow...
I have sometimes 404 errors when I try to reply...
and incomplete pages (like forum->hp-ux today).

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
Almost every time I search / refresh I am asked to login again which entails going to Europe site.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
I've seen lots of problems today: (1) This puppy is SLOW; (2) occassional 404-errors; (3) a few abbreviated pages returned (as I've reported before); (4) trouble logging in at various times (blank pages returned).
Dan, when can we expect some resolution? These are the same issues we see again and again.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
Yesterday and today the system is very slow.
There are the usual suspects, error 404's,
and screens being truncated.
The ITRC login server seemed to be down for
a period yesterday as well.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues! (7/2)
i haven't been able to post or reply for the past two days. I got an errormessage about an unreachable server. Although the unreachable server wasn't named i think it was something like us-external2.itrc.hp.com.
This was no general problem because i saw others reply to the messages where i couldn't.
Regards Stefan
