Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
Regarding http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x62478b82cc91d711abdc0090277a778c,00.html
Something does look unusual:
All profiles were added recently beginning around May 20th.
All users asking very basic, one-liner questions.
All user profiles are one named individuals.
Points distribution is highly uneven, and slanted toward this individual http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/UserProfile/1,,BR690094!1,00.html.
I've cleaned up the duplicate posts mentioned thus far. Update the June thread with anything new that needs to be removed.

It's June!! (Not that the weather here in New England feels like it). Time for new threads.

The last entry I see in the thread is dated May 16th, yet it popped up on June 2nd. Odd!

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
I've been unsuccessful at finding a thread or link on the ITRC that accurately describes the firmware log for a K class server, and I am near concluding that it must have been removed or is perhaps being filtered out by HP for proprietary reasons. (* Don't know. *) What I am looking for is GSP / SP / PDC log that records the last 50 LED messages after turning the key to service, 'control b' and DL or SL to display these messages, i.e., FLT ####, RUN ####, INIT, ####. Other HPMC tracking commands i.e., 'PIM_INFO', 'PIM 0 HPMC', 'PR', etc. would also be nice to see. And if this thread could display the entire PDC command set then this would also be helpful. I.e., CM> HE....RS, TC, etc.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
It popped to the top because someone requested that it be moved to the HP-UX forum (from the Linux forum).
When I moved it, it went to the top.

Yes, please do cleanup the thread Michael cites. It's an insult to all of us with advanced degrees.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
You're welcome! I think the problem with the post is that for some reason IE doesn't like the URL ending with an = sign.
It looks fine in Opera though.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
I'll assign points... and at the next screen I'll "go back to the topic" and I'll notice none of the poins are assigned... I'll have to do it twice for the points to "stick"

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
That is a known problem that Dan and gang are working on. Right, Dan?
I've had to deal with that problem for a number of months now. I just plan on having to assign points at least twice to get them to stick.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
I for one am sick and tired of some of rudeness and lack of professionalism some individuals show.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
Lots of 404 errors nothing worked. Other web sites were up, so I'm not thinking it was my connectivity.
Regarding the thread in Michael's post, I think the non-pointed posts should go. I however see it as an aberration. Perhaps the two gentlemen had a bad day and regret their words.
Perhaps as an alternative to deleted the posts they should both post in apologies since there was an obvious communication problem there.

Re: Please Report Forums Issues - May 2003
Our fishy smelling friend, Lubomir, is at it again:
http://forums.itrc.hp.com/cm/QuestionAnswer/1,,0x535e8b82cc91d711abdc0090277a778c,00.html
I must say that this is going to have a negative impact on the quality of answers for anyone who really is from Russia!
