Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues for October 2002
Hi Dan,
I've been following the posts about the time stamps and the posts appearing out of order. I have an idea. It kind of looks like the timestamp for a message is getting set when a user first hits the Reply button on a post, but the time being printed with their post is picked up when the Submit button is hit. Is that possible? That might explain why some of the posts appear to be out of order. Just a another crazy idea.
Patrick: I saw that post, and that was John Palmer, not me. You should be able to tell the difference between us as he obviously knows what he is talking about. ;)

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues for October 2002
Hi Dan,
Being by nature a contrary sort of guy, I want to mention a drawback to allowing the author to close a thread. There are times that some excellent info is added to a thread well after "magic answer" points have been awarded. I've seen a number of posts by Bill Hassell (and others) that fall into this category.
I'd hate to miss those.
Darrell

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues for October 2002
Hope you haven't already seen another copy of this floating around somewhere but can you help me merge a couple of accounts: one (older) from the Europe site into my (current) Americas account?
Thanks in advance,
ard

Re: Please Submit Your ITRC Forums Issues for October 2002
Hi Dan,
Here is another one of these time issues, although more weird. In this post I have been placed as the second postee, yet before I submitted my answer, the answer after mine had already been posted..... (I know I'm not going senile in my old age...)
