Usually someone has given a good pointer in the right direction.
Then
C. http://docs.hp.com
Normally that is enough for me.
Cheers.

All of the above.
I also try and have regular phone conversations with my HP Rep. They hear about things that are not publicized yet.

Re: Poll: Where do you look for OS support information?
Release notes are fine but not complete because HWE patches can change the information in the Release Notes. I don't know too many people that use the Install/Upgrade guides because they seem to be one-time docs and don't get updated as changes occur. docs.hp.com is a great site but it's difficult to limit the search to support hardware. And as usual, marketing sites seldom have any history (ie, 10.xx, 9.xx, D,E,F,G,H,I and K servers, old 700 series, and so on). A central location for current and history docs would allow each of the different sites (docs.hp.com, ITRC, marketing) to use a permanent link and not worry about the details like history.

docs.hp.com
ITRC forums
Google/Yahoo search (can often find forum postings here that don't pop up in the ITRC search engine)
man pages on the system itself (doesn't anyone read man pages any longer? :)

Re: Poll: Where do you look for OS support information?
Searching ITRC forums is the best and quckest way to discover what I am looking for in most cases. As Bill Hassell indicated, due to less than stellar performance of the search engine, sometimes (read as more often than not) I need to look for forums answers using Google.
In the very few cases forums fail to provide at least a derivative of the answer. I go to hp.com and use the search feature on specific products those are related to my search topic and at some point I get to meaningful document.

Re: Poll: Where do you look for OS support information?
I follow the A>B>C>D.
Well, the website https://support.hpe.com/ is awsome site , no doubt. But people have to put more efforts to make sure the information is latest by looking around other HP sites. There might be a while before those docs could be updated
(till the doc team make it. I do appreciate HP's efforts to put the as much information as possible that could be published through their various websites. But people have to struggle to find the correct information looking around those sites.
Hence I believe there is a need to have a one website. For ex. for HP-UX where for each version, we should get all information right from inception, any changes , version release , support for h/w platforms, for other related products, matrices, EOL etc . I mean wherever HP-UX is referred , all information should be reflected at this command place.
I checked the HP BSC site searching HP-UX product "HP-UX 11.11". It shows all other product from 11.00 except 11.11!!!. I do see info about 11.11 selecting one of them under heading as HP-UX 11.x OE. I guess something is working (maybe organizing) out at HP to put doc at BSC.
I see the HP BSC is the best place and making it central place of information would be a great idea. Moreover the site provides "personalization" , it would be quite helpful for all users.
I believe BSC would be used second after ITRC , a link could be provided at ITRC site to get BSC site.

Re: Poll: Where do you look for OS support information?
Otherwise, I'm -luckily- not a decisionmaker so I don't have to worry about support contracts running out :)
In short, whenever we notice via *any* source that we're going down to i.e. 1.12.2006 for 11.00, the bells start ringing.
It is a non issue as HP-UX is our daily business. Otherwise in a scenario where I pay for a software license I'd with no doubt at all expect HP to let me know about the end of support in time.

C, E --> ITRC
I have been in HP-UX since 2000 and C and E (ITRC) are the places where i go if i have any doubts. Also, Looking at www.hp.com/dspp and DSPP newsletters helps a lot.
