POP client for HP-UX
I'm not sure if this is the right naming convention I used in the message subject for what I want to do, but here it goes:
I would like to check MS Exchange server every x number of minutes to see if mail has arrived to MS Exchange particular user account. If it has, I would like my pop client to retrieve it and put it in my local UNIX mail box.
For those who have used Linux, that would be an equivalent of running a "fetchmail" program.
Is there such a thing available for HP-UX (and even more so, is it supported by HP itself)?
Thanks.

Re: POP client for HP-UX
Hi,
There is a HP-UX port of fetchmail:
http://hpux.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Networking/Mail/fetchmail-5.7.0
Be aware of gettext dependency :o)
HTH !
Best regards,
Fred.

Re: POP client for HP-UX
Just to add to Frederic's post you can find gettext at the following url. Install it first then install fetchmail:
http://gatekeep.cs.utah.edu/hppd/hpux/Gnu/gettext-0.10.35/
Hope this is useful.

Jason V.
