printer usage

running hpux 11.11. i have 180+ printers setup on this box. what can i do to find the last time a printer was printed to?

Other than reviewing /var/adm/lp/log if it has not been cleared/restarted I can think of no other way.
(maybe I will learn something new today )

ok, its probably not bulletproof, but

cd /var/spool/lp/request and do
ls -ltad *

should show you which print queue got touched and when....

depending upon your needs, it might be accurate enough. For example, I've used it to identify printers no longer in use.
