problem with java2 sdk 1.4 & nescape 4.7

hi,

recently i installed sdk 1.4 java2 for documentation purpose for UG nx2 in c360 workstation its having hp-ux 11.11 vesion.

After taht whenever user opening ug nx2 for documentation it is opening properly netscape butwith one error. ..

java applet :
java40.jar not in the classapath
current classpath /usr/local/plugins/../user home dircetory..

so i need to change this entry.. in which file this entry could there..

help me..

Options,


01. Before u start netscape add the following

export CLASSPATH=$CLASSPATH:/opt/netscape/java/classes/java40.jar
If the PATH is diffrent from what i have posted please compensate that.

02. Also I could find some javapluggins for netscape install them

I would try installing the latest version of netscape and enabling java in edit-preferences-advanced !


Open ur eyes and have a look u will find something !

There is a variable called CLASSPATH that might need to be set for all users in /etc/profile

Java 1.4 was not designed with Netscape 4.7 in mind.

You might want to get a more compatible version of netscape, perhaps mozilla 1.4 at http://www.hp.com/go/mozilla

You still might want to install Java 1.3, which will not bother java 1.4 and the 1.3 plugin to make this work right for you.
