Problem with RP4440 and ADIC i2K tape drives
Morning all,
Has anyone seen this before?
We have got several HP machines of different ages and types all SAN attached, and all can see 6 ADIC tape drives via the fabric.
There is one problem machine, an RP4440 that refuses to see the tape drives. I have zoned the HBA's in, and the ADIC can see the WWN on the HP box, and after an ioscan the HP box can see the controler of the ADIC. I then lun maped the drives to the the HP box, but an "ioscan -fn" shows no tapes at all. I've got the "stape / scsi1 / scsi3 / scghr / sctl" all in the kernel, and the patch level is the same as the other servers, and all running HPUX 11i.
Any ideas greatfully received.
Ta,
Sime.

Re: Problem with RP4440 and ADIC i2K tape drives
Thanks for the reply Ludovic. I don't have that loaded on any machines. I;m not even seeing the hardware path when I do an ioscan. I'm not sure where the problem lies, it might be something to do with the RP4440, or HBA's, or the tape library it's self. I've got a call open with ADIC, but I though I'd have a go on here too, to see if anyone else had seen it.
