Has Hp brought out a program or has one that ables a person to enter another hp pc with their permission? My ex husband told me he has it and can access any HP computer with the owners consent?

It's not limited to just HP PCs. If you have WinXP this is called Remote Assistance and Remote Desktop.

Hello,
You either can invite anyone to access your WinXP based PC remotely using Remote Assistance or the easiet way will be using Windows Messenger, download it from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/messenger/
There are many other ways, e.g) Terminal Connection Manager if you accessing a Terminal Server! Dell use to ship their PC with a software called Carbon Copy I believe which is very similar to Symantec PcAnywhere.
