pset to be used in PRM

Hello All,

I have one appl. which is CPU licenced bound.
I have 4 cpu's in the system & the appl. licence is form 2 cpu's. can i bind the processes using pset & PRM so that at any point of time appl. can see only 2 CPUs in the system. How do i use it?

Also, if i configure it will it cahneg after reboot.

Yes, this is doable. Refer #man prmconf for more information.

yes it is doable.

You will need to determine which porcesses you wish to bind, and then add then then to the group bound to the 2 cpu's The is easily done through the graphical interface xprm.

You will need to specify the customized config file in /etc/rc.config.d/prm
