psmctd core dump

Whenever one of my systems reboots, I find the /core file of
psmctd.
How do I fix that?

psmctd- Peripheral Status Client/Target daemon

It is loaded by online diagnostic tools.

There may be a patch available to prvent this core dump.

Hi I think that you may have to download some patches for online diagnostics and install them. go thro these links
