psmond error

Hello,
This morning I had the following message on my console:

Predictive/UX,99/12/09, 04:20 psmond error: Procedure Launch-Util failed
because Predictive/UX,99/12/09, 04:20 e ipc error -2. [psmipc 4104]

I'm new to the HPUX enviroment, can someone please let me know what this error
message is in reference to and what it means.

You might want to check that your diagmond i srunning on the sysem in question.
If not, then do the following:

/sbin/init.d/diagnostic start


and see if that cures the problem
