Mike,

I don't know if there is a manual for this or not. Pvlinks is actually built into LVM so it's not a separate product or anything. Your best bet is to do a man on vgextend and go to the section dealing with 'alternate paths'. Alternate paths are pvlinks.

pvlink is refered to as an alternate link, documented on the vgextend man page

You can also just do a man on vgcreate. It covers how to set it up.
