pwgr and socket files
Hello,
I have a problem related to socket files created by pwgrd. I know the advantage of this daemon, but I do not need it because I have few users in my systems. I have found lots of alerts related to viruscan and backups, and I do not want them to appear, so I need to deactivate the creation of these socket files. I deleted them, and the directory in which they were, I disabled it in /etc/rc.config.d/pwgr, stopped it and rebooted the system, but it did not work. They are been created again.
Could anyone help me? I do not know how to kill it. Do I need a gun?
Thanks and bye,
Alberto

Re: pwgr and socket files
it's a known issue I beleive ... try removing the actual pwgr directory structure and also disable the daemon.

Re: pwgr and socket files
Yes, I have read this answer before, but although it seems very strange, I delete the directory structure and disable pwgr in /etc/rc.config.d/pwgr but when I reboot the system, the directory structure and socket files are recreated.
