PXE-E16: Valid PXE offer not recieved
I'm trying to resize / and /stand by using an ignite backup on an rx2600. On the ignite server bootpd and tftpd are configured and running and I have the following entry for this server in /etc/bootptab:
gobhup12:\
bf=/opt/ignite/boot/nbp.efi:\
hn:\
ht=ethernet:\
ha=001321EAE52E:\
ip=10.81.1.93:\
sm=255.255.0.0:\
gw=10.81.1.1
When I try to lan boot the server I get a "PXE-E16: Valid PXE offer not received." message. I increased verbosity for bootpd but receive no messages that a request was recieved by bootpd. Both the ignite client and server are on the same subnet. When the client server is booted the network interface works correctly.
What can I look for to troubleshoot this. I don't do this often but it has worked previously.
Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Re: PXE-E16: Valid PXE offer not recieved
I was never able to boot from my Ignite server. The workaround (not really a workaround) was to reinstall from the media. The actual problem was that we were missing the Ignite-UX 11.23 bundle which allowed us to boot IA64 clients. Currently our ignite server is 11.11.
