question on cluster files

I am looking for a similiar feature, in HP-UX, like the gfs (Global File System) offered in Linux. I want to have two server accessing the same filesystem, but have the file system lock one system out while the other system is accessing the files. Do I need the get the Veritas cluster filesystem software? I don't not want to use ServiceGuard. Thx in advance.

Re: question on cluster files

veritas clustering in conjunction with veritas cluster filesystems is what you are looking for. But if your operation involves writing to a database, e.g., oracle, you will need more than just that. If you contact veritas professional services (or symantec with its new name) they will give you a run down for your needs.
