Hi,
I have a 10.20 system that is supporting about 35 Xterms, mainly using VUE. Our desktops are heavily customized to serve the applications. It was felt that we need to use a separate server running 11.00 to support these Xterms. This compels us to migrate from VUE to CDE without loosing much of the customizations done.
I could see that we can use vue2cde for migration. But, in our case, we are going to use a separate server already running 11.00 with CDE installed on it. My main concern in this regard :
1) If I copy the home directories of the users to the new server and attempt vue2cde, will that solve the purpose? (Please note that since this is 11.00 I dont have the /usr/vue/bin files installed on the proposed serer.)
Thanks a lot for your time and efforts in advance,
Anu Mathew
