Questions about Ignite-boot!
When I boot from an Ignite Tape and the boot is done, can I connect the server via telnet.
What i mean, is the service on, when the boot is done.

Re: Questions about Ignite-boot!
Shalom,
You need to complete the Ignite restore process before the machine can come up in multi user mode.
The machine will be accessible only via the console during the restore process.

Re: Questions about Ignite-boot!
Hi,
During a system rebuild from ignite, the system will reboot at least once, then will bring the server back to multi-user mode. Only then you can connect again.
If you're after a remote session to monitor the process, I suggest you configure your GSP to allow remote access or usr a Web Console.
