"Queue full" from batch jobs

Hi,

we are getting a "queue full" message from any bach job we try to submit.
We checked with "at -l" if any other job was scheduled, but the command doesn't provide any entries. Also file "queuedefs" it's exactly the same as an other server where batch jobs work.

Any idea?

Thanks,
Alessio

My first suggestion is that you build yourself a cron schedule instead of using at.

The message appears self explanatory. There are limits as to how many at jobs can run at the same time.

I only use at for one time only stuff. if its too complex for that I write a script, even a multi-threaded process and let cron do it.
