"UTMP Entry" Error
Hi people,
Since one week I have obtained this error: "No utmp entry. You must exec "login" from the lowest level "sh"." when I try to connect with a telnet session.
Anyone knows what is the problem and how I can resolve this?
TIA,
David

Re: "UTMP Entry" Error
You may have corrupt wtmp/utmp entries. Does the last command work?
You may want to search these forums or the net for wtmpfix - it should help you out.
Cheers!
