Hi,
I want to install Quorum Server A.02.00 as a Serviceguard package (on hpux-pa) in order to provide highly available quorum services for other Serviceguard Clusters (hpux-pa and hpux-ia).
Has anyone experience with this configuration?
Are there some drawbacks?
The releasenotes show an example for installing QS in a package. The service in the example starts "/usr/lbin/qs". As /usr/lbin is no shared directory in the cluster I need to know wether QS can be installed into another directory (which is shared between the nodes). Or if QS has to be installed into /usr/lbin on all nodes in the cluster on which the package should run.
Thanks for your help!
Walter

Solution
firstly, this is quite easy to do, you just have to install the Qs software on each server in the cluster.
Main drawbacks are that the QS cluster cannot use the qs it is running for itself., and currently you can only specify one ip address over which to get to the qs, so if that network dies you could potentially have an issue.
