Hello,

I have a problem on My RAC setup, and the people at oracle told me to run their RDA script. This is the result of the RDA

A00025 Got EXTJOB User? FAILED ExtjobNotFound
A00070 Umask Set to 022? FAILED UmaskNotOK
A00160 Disk Space OK? FAILED NoSpace
A00210 Got OS Patches? FAILED [] not installed [] not installed

Can anybody help me with this?
should I just create EXTJOB user?
and which disk space is this test is referring to?

I'm fairly new with HP-UX, but I'm pretty familiar with RHEL and AIX

2)Set the umask to 022 in the .profile for oracle user

for more info disk space and os patches ,check the rda log

Shalom Mohammad Ikhsan,

These results typically occur when the Oracle preinstallation requirements are not precisely met.

It could as the other poster be umask issue. It could be due to lack of disk space.

It also appears that OS patches required by Oracle before installation are not done.

All these steps must be complete prior to even beginning the oracle installation process.

RAC has a document with probably 10-15 pages of pre installation requirements. Don't skip them, comply with them 100%

It occurred to be after posting that you might want a guide on how to install patches in HP-UX as you are a newbie.
