Hi Guys,
Can someone advice how I can reset my administrator password as I have forgotten it. The OS running on my server is 10.20 and the server model is R390. Please advice???

Boot into single user mode and you will be automatically logged in as root.

You will have to cycle power, and bring the system up into single user mode.

Interrupt teh boot at pdc, and type bo. When it asks you if you want to interact with ipl, type y. At the isl prompt, type hpux -is

This will put you into single user mode. At that point, type passwd, and reset the root password. Reboot the system, and you should be good to go!!

You can use single user mode to reset password conditionally if password plus is not installed.
