Reading MPE :STORE tapes in HP-UX
Is anyone aware of a utility that will read MPE :STORE tapes on a HP-UX box running version 11.i? We have scads and scads of :STORE tapes that we would like to convert over to HP-UX and we would like to avoid having to ftp 20,000 files between systems, if possible. Will a MPE Posix tar tape be readable by HP-UX? I noticed that MPE tar adds an extra file to the tar tape for every file that is stored.
Thanks all!
Thanks all!

Mr. Madigan,
You might want to resubmit this question in the MPE Forum. I know that many MPE experts frequent that forum and may be able to help you.
I do know that STORE tapes cannot be read by other utilities, i.e. only RESTORE can restore them.
