what can I do to fix this problem ?

Re: Rebooting Issues

Shalom,

1) What kind/model of workstation and what os?
2) Are there errors displayed on screen before this happens, during bootup? Take notes and post them.

It's either provide some useful information or as A Clay says, consult the force.

Re: Rebooting Issues

What user are you logging in with? root or other user?

Can you login directly as root or are you attempting to login as another user?

Just off the bat, it seems like your validation isn't functioning properly, after you login.

I would check your rc logs to see if all your services started.

and yes we need more info, anything you can provide.

Re: Rebooting Issues

hi,

Are you able to ping the workstation when the screen goes blank?

When you try to telnet using a remote client does it work?

revert!

kind regards
