Rebuilding Machine
We had a bad boot disk and the machine has to be rebuilt. (HP-UX 11.11) on 4440. There is a SAN connected to the BOX which has all the Apps/DB. I have a snapshot of /etc/lvmtab, fstab, netstat -rn, netstat -in,BDF. now if i install a new OS and then configure just the VG00 and then attach the SAN and then do a vgscan and create the filesystems and lvol's will i be back to business? Please advise
Thanks

Re: Rebuilding Machine
Brian,
yes, that is pretty much it. It's a lot of messing around for a rebuild.
Have you considered ignite backups?
http://docs.hp.com/en/IUX/download.html
This would generate a full system image inc. of you configuration.
