Recover from Tape for Itanium servr
I was using the TKB document ID IA64KBRC0015995 from oct of 2005. Document title how to boot/recover from tape on itamium.
Before getting to the advanced user interface I get the following errors:
ERROR: "/var/opt/ignite/CONFIG", line 348: Illegal charater: "i"
ERROR: "/var/opt/ignite/CONFIG", line 348: Syntax error
ERROR: Problems were encountered while parsong the config file "/var/opt/ignite/CONFIG"
ERROR: net_cfg_prep: Problems ere encountered while parsing the configuration files. See the messsages above for details. usering instl_adm with the -T and/or -D options on the server may help isolate the problem.
I am able to start the recovery from tape, but then start to recieve errors about Unstatified data symbol '_zTVN10_cxxabviv120__si_class_type_infoe' in load module "/sbin/configure1

Re: Recover from Tape for Itanium servr
Why is /sbin/configure1 on your system? Is it part of ignite?
(It also helps if you cut&paste your error message. _ZTVN10__cxxabiv120__si_class_type_infoE is defined in /usr/lib/hpux32/libCsup.so.1.)
