and what are the difference betwenn golden patch, hardware enable patch and all...

In general:

The GOLDBASE and GOLDAPPS patch bundles are known as the Quality Pak or QPK. Most folks use these periodic patch bundles as part of their routine maintenance / bug fixes every 6 months or so.

The Hardware Enablement of (HWE) patch bundle contains newer patches required for operation of the latest hardware.

Here is the currently defined patch types are:

PHCO - Commands and libraries
PHKL - Kernel
PHNE - Networking
PHSS - Subsystems

( Remember for PHKL reboot is must. )
An example identifier for a kernel patch would be PHKL_1433. All HP-UX patches start with the characters "PH" (Patch HP-UX).

The Bundles like GOLD or QPK releases in a specified time and contains all update patches. Check itrc patch database for details of GOLD patch bundle.

Hi,

The Quality Patch budle is normally released periodically by HP. This contain bug fix for the OS and it's components and is extened for some software supports etc.... Where the HW enable patches are for new hardware support and bug fix on previous HW patches.
