Hi,
How to reset a vpar in hpux11iv3 OS machine model is rx 8460?
I am unable to login to that particular vpar from MP CONSOLE.But it is showin that vpar is up and i am able to ping that particular vpar.
Please do needful.

SolutionYou can do it in two ways: a hard reset (the RS command from the GSP/console) or a soft reset (the TC command from the GSP/console, invoking a system crashdump).
The –t option is a soft reset
# vparreset -p vPar1 -t Reset virtual partition vPar1? [n] y
so, the question why do you need to do this , a crashdump ? OR ?
