Some time ago, a queue was setup which prints remotely to an NT server. The queue is called TORONT1. I have been asked to setup another queue TORONT2 to print to the same NT server.
I understand I need a foreign queue and also need to amend
/opt/openspool/sw-master/.opsp_aliases
IS there anything else to add on system.
I have added the following to
/opt/openspool/sw-master/.opsp_aliases
QUEUE TORONT2 BSD:yy529ds3:TORONT2
There was already a line in the file which was
QUEUE TORONT1 BSD:yy529ds3:TORONT1
I have also just looked at the man pages for openspool in particular page7. Was just wondering if I have set this up correctly.

Paul - I don't think you need a foriegn queue for BSD printing.
The format you have should work, here is what I have for /opt/openspool/sw-master/.opsp_aliases :
QUEUE q_on_unixserver BSD:ntserver:q_on_ntserver
I think you will also need this same info in: /opt/openspool/runtime-sw/.opsp_aliases .
Good Luck

Re: Remote printing to NT server.
Thanks for help. I have just had confirmation from the user that this works. If only everything was that easy.
