Remote Printing

We use a Compaq Unix server to send print jobs to HPlaser jets 2100tn's.We have migrated from Novelle 3.x to 5.1. Novell no longer does any filtering. I have created a filter that works with normal printing. Does anyone have an example of how to compress the print in the filter.
