Remote Shell from LINUX

Hey guys! Happy Friday.

Kinda dumb question but I am trying to run an HPTERM from my Mandrake LINUX box but It doesn't have remsh. I don't have the time to research it completly (Kinda a hobby). Anyway any clues? Thanks!!!

I get a command not found... Can I install a package on the LINUX box for that? Should it come with the base install?

I thought that rsh was the solution as well... I am suffering from mutiple task confusion.

Hi

It should be with base install. Unless you have some modules for tcp/ip or Networking prducts separetly.

Try and see what output rlogin or rcp commands give you.
I don't have any linux box around here.

IT is /usr/bin/rsh

or go to
http://www.redhat.com
click download on top right
type rsh on search area.
Click on "download rpms" on right-middle.

Down load rsh package and install it using
rpm -i package_name

Before you do this check that it is install or not.

it should be like
#rpm -qa |grep -i rsh
rsh-0.16-12
rsh-server-0.16-12

You can also find this on your cd. I don't remember which one but it is in RedHat/RPMS directory.

rsh isn't anywhere on the system. I will install IT ;) monday. I'll give out points monday too. Thanks guys!!
