Remove last remants of DS2405 disks from HP-UX 11.00
I recently removed a DS2405 and the A6795A dual fiber channel card that supported it from an RP7400.
However, CSVDM is reporting a daily failure to talk to one of the drives from the DS2405. Just one of them, mind you. There's one message for each path that formerly existed:
Mar 18 11:51:04 hpn syslog: CVSDM; CRITICAL Event Code=199; Lost connection to host.; ; Hardware Address=/dev/rscsi/c43t15d0; Unknown FRU Location; Unknown Vendor ID; Unknown Model ID; Unknown Product S/N; Latest information on this event at http://docs.hp.com/hpux/content/hardware/ems/RemoteMonitor.htm#199

I've done armdiscover, no help. What do I need to disable or delete to stop these messages?
thanks all...
[I posted this under storage and got no takers. Hope it isn't against the rules to re-post in a different category...]

Re: Remove last remants of DS2405 disks from HP-UX 11.00
Hi,
check your diagnostic version for updates.
For HP-UX 11.00 it is
B.11.00.27.xx - A.44.00
see
http://docs.hp.com/en/diag/stm/stm_upd.htm
If no longer needed, remove the commandview software.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
