Removing correct failed disk from vg00

Hi 

Please help to identify the correct failed disk to remove from vg00.

-The EMS error shows the disk on below path has erros.

Disk at hardware path 1/0/0/3/1.6.0 : Media failure

-Based on the path, the realted disk is c5t6do

disk 0 0/0/0/3/0.5.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP 36.4GMAS3367NC
/dev/dsk/c0t5d0 /dev/rdsk/c0t5d0
disk 722 1/0/0/3/1.6.0 sdisk CLAIMED DEVICE HP 36.4GMAU3036NC
/dev/dsk/c5t6d0 /dev/rdsk/c5t6d0

-However the lvdisplay shows the the stale partition on another disk 

LE        PV1                         PE1  Status 1    PV2            PE2            Status 2
00242 /dev/dsk/c5t6d0 01436  current   /dev/dsk/c0t5d0 01143   stale

-Based on the error report the disk c5t6d0 has to be removed, but it looks like that hold the good copy of the filesytem as the other disk is stale.

- I tried lvsync but no luck, only option seems to be to remove the faulty disk, please advice if it is ok to remove c5t6d0

  I don't think I would without further investigation. I would for sure open a response center call and hope my Ignite backup is recent and good.
