remsh connection refused

I have made a ignite image of one my clients and to fully test ignite restore I deleted files from root and re-booted. I then bring up the system using boot lan ipaddress of the master. Iâ m able to bring the nic up and able to ping. When I go back to the master to re-install the image, it replies remsh error connection refused. What else needs to be done on the client??
The master is HPUX 11.11 using the lastest version of Ignite. The client is HPUX 11.0

Dan,

I believe you're going to need to set up a .rhosts file for root.

Also make sure login and shell entries in your inetd.conf file are not out-commented.
Every problem has at least one solution. Only some solutions are harder to find.

Thanks guys for the advice. I have to leave early today and will try again tomorrow morning.
