restricted sam
I entered this question before and came to no good resolution. I thought I would try again.
I have used sam -r to set up a user with sam
privelege. On one system w/hpux 10.20 all is well. On the second system w/hpux 11.00, one user setup find and works well. All other attempts to setup user with sam privelege fail.

I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep and miles to go before I sleep

Re: restricted sam
Just a stab in the dark - try deleting the user, then re-adding, then readding command to restricted SAM.

Re: restricted sam
I haven't had the opportunity to apply patches in hopes of correcting my problem. However, I appreciate the responses and have applied points in anticipation of success.
Thanks Again!
