rlogin and rsh

Could you please let me know what needs to be set up to do passwd less rlogin (using .rhosts) or rsh from pc to a hpux box(11.23 on a rp3440) .please help

Hi navin

create a .rhosts file in home folder. and the sysntex of the file content is like


10.10.10.10 root

you have set up now

login in that server using command

rlogin 10.10.10.10 -l root

from windows to your hp-ux rlogin is not secure what you can do setup secure shell ssh

you can login to your server either one of third party software or download putty
