rp7410 with HPUX 11.0

Hi

We need to iginte an rp7410 with an HPUX 11.0 ignite tape.. Will HPUX 11.0 work on this server?

Hi Roger,

It will work, but it is NOT supported by HP.
Only 11i is supported on the rp7410.
So proceed at your own risk.

Hi Pete/RJ,

Check the spec sheet for the rp7410:

http://www.hp.com/products1/servers/rackoptimized/rp7410/specifications.html

Only lists 11i. AFAIK all cell based systems 7405/7410/8400/SuperDomes only support 11i.
But I've seen 11.0 running on a 7410 - it's just that HP will *not* support that.
