GUYS
i have a server issueing the following error and am at a bit of a loss as to where to look now.
networking is ok
rpcinfo: can't contact rpcbind: RPC: Rpcbind failure - RPC: Failed (unspecified error)
this is coming out of a golden imaged server where we have built 20 servers before this and they are ok.
can anyone point me in the right direction, i now seem to have hit a block as to where to look.
regards
Andrew

Solution
Shalom Andrew,
Probably you have replicated NFS connections that this system can not reach or is being blocked from base don location or Network configuration.
Check the status on the following daemons
nfs.core
nfs.server
nfs.client
Also auto fs configuration.
The source of the problem is likely there.
