Are there any tools out there that can convert Rich Text Format (RTF) docs to PDF on HP-UX ?
One of our 3rd party applications is generating 'standard letters' by using RTF templates and doing simple search/replace on those templates to generate the resulting letter. These RTF files need somehow be onverted to PDF, but the only solutions we've found are windows based.

Re: RTF to PDF converter
http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=739997
gives links to RTF -> text and RTF -> HTML
Also have a look at http://www.nllgg.nl/Ted/
which does mention RTF->PDF, but you may either have to find a site with HP binaries or port it yourself.
Alternative may be to nfs the drive to a windows box and convert there.

Re: RTF to PDF converter
I think the solution should run on HPUX ?!
Seems all your links are for PC software.

Re: RTF to PDF converter
I've looked at Ted, but we don't have the capabilities/resources to do our own porting and we'd prefer to buy an existing/fully supported tool that runs on HP-UX.
If this is not available then ghostscript might be a possible solution, but this will need further investigation.

Combined with the previous link to ghostscript, you should be able to save to PDF via PS.
