rx2600 Monitoring Port
Hello
I have a problem. My console on a rx2600 doesnt work. Can I use the monitoring port
from HPUX ?
Perhaps to set the IP adress to the monitoring card.
After the setting the IP adress I can toggle between console and monitoring port.
Thanks
Ralf

Re: rx2600 Monitoring Port
Hi
Answering your Quetion..
Resetting the GSP is the way if your Console is hung.. As RAC has suggested.
I guess the monitoring stuff you ar etalking is a virtual One which Invokes from the Diagnostic subsystem ( EMS.. )
Are you talking abt configuring the MP( Management Processor) lan Console? .. yes you can..
The BMC( BAse management Contl) is the HP engg to diagnoise.
The "console" serial port - it's the top connector, and it's labelled "console"
Good luck
