s/w installation shows state as Install and not as configured.

Hi all,
In a 11.00 server, many of the patches and filesets are listing the status as just INSTALLED. How to move the status to CONFIGURED. I believe until any software is configured it is of no use.
Please help me

Why don't U use swconfig command to configure or reconfigure ur unconfigured software. For more information see man page of swconfig.

Generally if a fileset has not been configured you can do that with swconfig. You can ether do that fileset by fileset or all in one go with 'swconfig \*'.
