Re: SAM DOES NOT SUPPORT IPv6 NFS CONFIGURATION
Alex,
Believe it means that though 11i in general & NFS within 11i in particular do support IPv6, SAM has not been enabled to allow you to configure NFS using IPv6. Can be safely ignored.
The caveat being that if you must configure NFS using IPv6 you'll have to do so manually.
Rgds,
Jeff

Re: SAM DOES NOT SUPPORT IPv6 NFS CONFIGURATION
Hi, to make SAM able to handle
IPv6 you must install
PHCO_24118
This will make it possible to
set up the lancard to support
IPv6.
I realy don't understand what
you mean when you say IPv6
NFS? The next step in the layer is for nfs either udp or
tcp.

Re: SAM DOES NOT SUPPORT IPv6 NFS CONFIGURATION
Ok I don't use IPv6 nor do I want to, which is why i'm confused. I've only repeated the message that sam produced.
I can install that patch, however I do not understand why I should :).
I made an installation last week from the feb '01 release and that worked fine.
