SAM doesn't work: internal error

Whenever I try to do anything in SAM, I get the message: A SAM error has occured. Additional information regarding this error has been logged to the SAM log file (/var/sam/log/samlog).

I get this message whether I use the GUI or if I use the command line.

When I look in /var/sam/log/samlog I see:

Syntax Error: /usr/sam/lib/fs/fs.tm at line 1:^A^ALocation: tm_parse:2496^AEr
ror Code: 7159
@!@129@970239899@0

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Re: SAM doesn't work: internal error

Dave:

Most likely you have patches for SAM that have not been configured. Do:

# swlist -l fileset -a state | more

If any patches show "installed" but not "configured", do:

# swconfig PHxx_xxxx
