After using SAM to do a backup is there a way to redirect the recovery to another file system? I need to backup an Oracle DB at my shop and then ship it to another shop with a different file system layout. Can you use frecover from command line to do this? Thanks for all your help.

Solution
You can do it in sam
same place you made the backup
sam
backups and recovery
recover files interactively.
You can also use frecover, but thats one thing I do interactively. How to do it is on the frecover man page.

Re: SAM Interactive Backup and Recovery
I am sorry I do not see a place in SAM to say where to recover the file to. Once I tell it the filename to recover and hit ok it attempts to do it. Is there an option that needs to be checked?
