SCSI: Ultra160 Controller at 1/0/0/3/1: Error:

查看系统日志.发现有ERROR
SCSI: Ultra160 Controller at 1/0/0/3/1: Error: The domain validation test for target 1 determined that communication may not be possible to this target. Verify the hardware configuration.

查 ioscan -H

1/0/0/3/1 下面连接的是tape .

From your post it looks like the tape unit at H/W path 1/0/0/3/1 is bad. Make sure that cables, termination and HBA are ok before replacing any defective parts.
